Thursday, Nov. 28: Closed – Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Friday, Nov. 29: Open for wine and starters, no dinner service (we call this the “Get Me Away From My Family” event) – very low-key, just a great chance to get out of the house and enjoy the Bistro.
Saturday, Nov. 30: IT’S BACK! Thanks to great input and support from all of you, we are again offering our special kick-off to the winter menu & holidays with a prix fixe seven-course dinner. We will post the menu tomorrow morning. Reservations are required for this event.

1: Silky Chestnut Soup with Wild Mushroom Garnish
2: Savory Fried Artichoke Hearts with Cranberry Orange Aioli
3: Butterleaf & Radicchio Salad with Creamy Chevre & Sweet Cherry Vinaigrette, finished with Gingerbread Croutons
4: Grilled Herbed Sea Scallops with Semisweet Puree of Carrot, finished with Lemon Basil Infused Olive Oil
5: Cranberry & Ginger Sorbet
6: Allspice Short Rib with Traditional Creamy Corn Polenta
7: Eggnog Pot de Creme with MHB Peppermint Bark

The MHB team is so proud to be part of this year’s Race for the Cure. Just a reminder to all participants to join us at the Bistro after the race to continue the celebration. To show our appreciation, please stop by for mini-mimosas and a light snack of fruit and homemade granola – our treat! We will start at 9am and be there until everything is gone. Last night was THAT night: the test run of all the new summer offerings and wines. Oh. My. God. I’ve always loved our food, but Dameione & Amy really hit the jackpot this season – the duck kabobs are unreal! And the new wine? Ohhhhhhh so good. Alas, this weekend we bid a fond farewell to the lovely spring menu…to the lamb, to the lemon leek soup, the pompano, the manicotti, and so much more. Come on down for your last taste of spring this Thursday, Friday or Saturday!

I think it’s safe to say – IT’S OFFICIALLY A PATIO WEEKEND! Thursday was good, Friday was great, Saturday will be amazing! Feel free to stop by beginning at 5 tonight – I’m thinking bacon steaks sounds perfect. What to drink? Groth Sauvignon Blanc? Mitzi’s Sweet Tea? J Pinot Noir?

What’s that? Oh yeah – one of our new starters coming next week: BACON STEAK! Pan seared & grilled, glazed with bourbon- brown sugar (and more), then dressed with an orange-Tabasco aioli. We gave it a test-run last night…and wow. I think you’re really gonna like this one.
